Yifei “Evelyn” Li (李一飞), is an internationally trained attorney specializing in intellectual property, Chinese law, and antitrust law. After law school, Ms. Li received an L.L.M. in Intellectual Property from The George Washington University Law School.
Ms. Li has worked as one of the lead attorneys litigating forty cases in In re Auto Parts Antitrust Litigation (E.D. Mich. MDL 2311). She briefed scores of motions and has successfully argued motions before the federal court. She also led the dealer discovery effort against over fifty different defendant groups.
In In Re: National Prescription Opiate Litigation (N.D. Ohio MDL 2804), in which CGL is part of a team representing hospitals, Ms. Li assists in preparing and drafting complaints and briefs for the hospitals, as well as conducting in-depth legal research and opposing motions filed against the hospitals.
Prior to joining Cuneo Gilbert & LaDuca, LLP, Ms. Li interned for the Federal Circuit Bar Association and for the Honorable Chief Judge Randall R. Rader at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. As a judicial intern for Chief Judge Rader, Ms. Li worked on cases involving complex patent litigation and international trade disputes. Before coming to the U.S., Ms. Li worked for judges at a district court in Wuhan, China and interned with a large domestic firm specializing in capital markets, Jingtian & Gongcheng.
A native of Wuhan, China, Ms. Li enjoys playing the Guzheng, a traditional Chinese musical instrument, in her free time. She has participated in numerous musical competitions and her skill has been recognized at provincial and national levels.
Ms. Li is fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
