DAVID W. STANLEY has been a member of Cuneo Gilbert & LaDuca, LLP, and its predecessor firms (including the Cuneo Law Group, PC) for more than a decade. Mr. Stanley has over fifteen years of experience successfully representing plaintiffs in complex antitrust, civil, consumer protection, and securities actions before federal and state courts. He also has extensive experience representing clients in governmental investigations, including Congressional and grand jury investigations. Mr. Stanley has conducted approximately one-hundred trials in his career.
Mr. Stanley brings to his legal practice more than a decade of governmental experience-first as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia (1973-1984) and then as an Assistant Chief Trial Attorney for the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission (1984-1989). He began his legal career as a law clerk to Judge Gerard D. Reilly, Chief Judge of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals (1972-1973).
Mr. Stanley has been recognized for his achievements as a class action litigator. The Trial Lawyers for Public Justice selected him as a finalist for its 2006 Trial Lawyer of the Year Award.
