ALEXANDRA C. WARREN joined Cuneo Gilbert & LaDuca in 2006 and has represented plaintiffs in a variety of complex litigation matters. Ms. Warren has litigated civil rights, consumer protection, product liability, and contract claims. Ms. Warren has made significant contributions to the firm’s strip search litigation practice, serving as class counsel in numerous cases brought against county governments challenging their jail intake procedures. Ms. Warren’s current practice focuses on defective building products and false advertising cases.
Prior to joining CGL, Ms. Warren served as a law clerk to the Honorable John E. Jones III, U.S. District Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania (2002—2004), and then practiced at a law firm in the Philadelphia area, where she focused on commercial litigation and employment law matters (2004-2006).
Ms. Warren’s representative matters include numerous cases in which she served as class counsel in multi-million dollar settlements of class actions brought on behalf of pretrial detainees who asserted that jail strip search policies violated the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Those cases were brought against municipalities across the country including in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Texas. In Beals v. Bank of America, et al., 2011 WL 5415174 (D.N.J. Nov. 4, 2011), Ms. Warren’s team defeated a motion to dismiss in a case challenging bank’s mortgage foreclosure practices, and in Craig v. Rite Aid, 4:08cv-02317 (M.D. Pa.), the Class prevailed over a motion for summary judgment with respect to opt-ins whose standing was challenged in an action for overtime compensation under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Ms. Warren has also worked on numerous defective building products cases, including representing owners of homes with defective CertainTeed roofing shingles and Gentek siding.
Ms. Warren lives in Tampa, FL, with her husband and two daughters. In 2015, after her youngest daughter was diagnosed with profound hearing loss and received cochlear implants, Ms. Warren founded Listening Matters, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the auditory and verbal needs of children with hearing loss and their families, where spoken language is the desired outcome. Ms. Warren currently serves as the President of Listening Matters.

- Successfully defeating a motion to dismiss in Beals v. Bank of America, et al. challenging bank mortgage foreclosure practices.
- Prevailing over a motion for summary judgment in Craig v. Rite Aid regarding overtime compensation under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
- Leading multiple consumer protection cases, including litigation against Apple Inc., Balance of Nature, Stiiizy, Inc., and Ferrari North America.
- Securing significant settlements in major product liability cases, including the Roundup Litigation, Depuy ASR Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation, and Family Dollar Stores Pest Infestation Litigation.
Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Warren demonstrates a deep commitment to community service as the founder and President of Listening Matters, Inc., a non-profit organization serving deaf and hard-of-hearing children and their families in the Tampa Bay area. Her dedication to community service was recognized with the Tampa Bay Lightning Community Hero Award in April 2023. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for Congregation Schaarai Zedek.
