Serving Clients Nationwide in Complex Litigation Cases and Policy Disputes
Cuneo Gilbert & LaDuca, LLP has been serving clients in complex civil litigation in practice areas ranging from antitrust law and class actions to government and legislative advocacy with a team of proven lawyers since 1988. With 35+ years of experience, we believe we are the only law firm of our size equally at home on Capitol Hill, in a political debate, a state trial, or an appellate court.
Our firm has unique experience with a team that includes former Capitol Hill and federal agency veterans – including the Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Product Safety Commission – and other industry experts with deep legislative and policy experience. Skills & Experience
Every situation is different, and every person has unique character traits. We assess people as individuals rather than as a sum of paper credentials. While many of our team members have impressive accreditations, lawyers bring different strengths in law and public policy that cannot always be measured in a straightforward way. We bring attorneys with a host of varied skills to any situation.
Our attorneys have held positions of trust in state and federal governments and have:
- conducted approximately 200 trials;
- conducted approximately 500 quasi-adjudicative, administrative, or arbitral proceedings resulting in final adjudication;
- argued appeals in ten federal circuit courts of appeals, including two en banc arguments (cases heard or reconsidered by all the judges of the court);
- argued appeals in at least seven states;
- testified before Congress, state legislatures, or federal or state administrative bodies at least 60 times; and
- appeared in many cases before the United States Supreme Court.
