BEATRICE O. YAKUBU began her legal career at Cuneo Gilbert & LaDuca, LLP. Her practice focuses on consumer protection.
During law school, Ms. Yakubu clerked at the United States Attorney’s Office, where she concentrated on white collar criminal offenses.
As a law student, she served on the Executive Board of the Black Law Student’s Association and Moot Court Honor Society. She also worked as a Teaching Fellow for the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project and as a Student Attorney for the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project.
While attending Florida State University, Ms. Yakubu was a member of the African Student’s Association. She is currently a member of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden and also involved in their legal ministry.
Ms. Yakubu is conversational in Yoruba.
